Sadly, we have been forced to cancel the 2019 edition of the Crystal Coast Half Marathon, 10k, & 5k. We received notice this past Friday that we would not be able to go over the bridge from Morehead City to Atlantic City due to ongoing construction. We believe the bridge crossing is one of the integral parts of this race and that the experience would not live up to our, or your, expectations if we proceeded with an altered course. Bridge repairs should be complete by the end of the year, so WE WILL BE BACK in 2020!

So, what do you do? No worries, we have three options so you don’t lose your registration fees!

  1. Defer to the 2020 Crystal Coast race and receive 1 entry to another Junction 311 owned race for $10 as a thank you bonus*
  2. Transfer to any other Junction 311 owned race and receive 1 entry to another Junction 311 owned race for $10 as a thank you bonus. See Junction 311 events here http://junction311.com/#Our-Events*
  3. Receive a full refund


* The $10 additional entry can be used for a friend for the 2020 Run Crystal Coast race. It must be used on or before the 2020 Run Crystal Coast race. Only 1 use per deferral or transfer.

You must respond no later than Friday, March 1, 2019. No refunds will be offered after that date and you will be automatically deferred to the 2020 Run Crystal Coast race. The thank bonus of any Junction 311 race for $10 also expires on that date.


I am very sorry we have to cancel the race. We really had hoped to give the area an economic boost as they have suffered greatly from Hurricane Florence. We will be back and better than ever in 2020!
